Geoff on War and other things
He has made only 3 comments about war politics
since his deployment:
1. On journalists:
They eat our food, take up our space, and breathe our air. They don't go where we tell them to go, they go where we till them not to go, and if they are hurt its our fault for not watching over them and covering them. We can't tell them anything, so when we don't tell them anything, they make stuff up.
2. On the Iraq elections:
The gratitude from people who risked their lives to help decide how to run their country is overwhelming.
3. On support from politicians and the news media:
We could get our job done and be outta here if they'd stop whining about how much they want us outta here. Every crack like those from Durbin sets our mission back at least 6 months. Unknowingly, these morons are supporting terrorism.
