3:30 AM I finish nice IM conversation with Geoff
and go to sleep
6:05 Mike wakes me up saying "we have no kitchen sink." I wonder if a meteor took it out in the night and I slept through it.
6:07 I check out sink and find that actually only the sprayer thing (which on a Grohe faucet *is* the entire faucet). I further test the efficacy of the faucet by spraying down myself and the entire kitchen.
6:09 After mopping up quickly I wait for Mike to get out of the shower.
6:12 I get in shower
6:27 get dressed
6:29 forget faucet doesn't work and have second shower; throw clothes in dryer and get dressed again
7:00 I finally get him out the door and work on some data
7:02 Mom tells me i have left laundry in the dryer and she wants to do her laundry - it is Wednesday, after all.
7:10 All offending clothes removed from dryer; back to work.
8:00 call faucet place in Tacoma; ascertain they have probable replacement and plan to go retrieve it.
Meanwhile, back at the computer: find thumbnail site for Geoff to upload Iraq photos - Imagestation works; will post link later. Have coffee, and breakfast of flax flakes, soy milk, and fresh blueberries.
11:24 leave, get faucet, stop at bike shop for stuff, get stuff and bike puter all for $5.48 and 2 Performance Bike coupons, go to Marlenes and spend $40.
Home, fix faucet but cant put computer on bike. Heat leftovers for Lucy. Work on dissertation til now when i decide to call it a night and go to bed.
